This Introduction to Graphic Design course provides a foundational understanding of visual communication through the use of typography, imagery, color, and layout. It blends theory and practice, enabling students to use industry-standard tools to create compelling and professional visuals for print and digital media.
Learners will explore the principles of design, branding, and composition while gaining hands-on experience in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other relevant tools. The course encourages creativity, critical thinking, and the development of a professional design portfolio.
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
Understand Design Principles: Identify and apply core design principles such as balance, contrast, alignment, hierarchy, and white space.
Use Industry Tools: Navigate and use essential graphic design software like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create high-quality visuals.
